Find an extraordinary 8 Days Tanzania Migration Safari through Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Your adventure begins at the charming Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you’ll be immersed in the serenity of lush coffee plantations with breathtaking views of Mount Meru. After exploring the vibrant town of Arusha, head to Tarangire National Park, home to Africa’s largest elephant population, and spend two nights at Lemala Mpingo Ridge, perched above the Tarangire River. Here, you’ll enjoy spectacular views, thrilling game drives, and an optional Maasai village visit for a unique cultural experience.
Continue your journey to the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its dense wildlife population and stunning landscape. Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, spotting lions, elephants, and the elusive black rhino. The safari culminates in the Serengeti National Park, where the true spectacle of the Great Migration unfolds. Stay at Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp in the heart of the Serengeti, where you’ll witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebras, and have the opportunity for an unforgettable hot-air balloon ride over the plains. End your adventure with a scenic flight back to Arusha.
Upon arrival in Arusha, a local representative will be waiting at the airport to transfer you to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Nestled in the foothills of Mount Meru, 30 cottages are surrounded by one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations for an ideal pre- or post-safari stopover near the town of Arusha. The aroma of freshly ground beans wafts over the rooms and suites’ wood-beamed interiors. Don’t miss the coffee-making experience—beans are cooked in a skillet to release their oils, and then ground using a massive mortar and pestle—to have fresh Tanzanian coffee with the local villagers and learn more about the area firsthand. A private swimming pool, garden terrace, and indoor-outdoor restaurant serving up meals and picnic lunches (or 24-hour room service if you prefer) make it a cozy stay with impeccable service.
Take a walk along the rows of emerald-green plantations or relax with the freshest cup of coffee you will ever have at the coffee shop and patisserie. Fine dining is available, as are spa treatments and cosy firelit lounges. The ever-friendly staff will be happy to arrange day tours to Arusha National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater as well as Maasai markets and Arusha’s other highlights.

let’s know more About Tanzania
The dry season, from June to October, is ideal for safaris due to excellent wildlife viewing. This period offers clear skies and easy game spotting. The Great Migration occurs in the Serengeti during this time, making it one of the most popular and rewarding seasons for safari enthusiasts.
Top parks include the Serengeti for the Great Migration, Ngorongoro Crater for Big Five sightings, Tarangire for elephants and baobabs, and Selous or Ruaha for off-the-beaten-path experiences. Each park offers unique landscapes and wildlife encounters, allowing travellers to experience Tanzania’s rich biodiversity and iconic safari moments.
A typical safari lasts 5 to 10 days, depending on how many parks you wish to visit. Shorter trips are great for focused experiences, while longer itineraries allow for deeper exploration. Adding a Zanzibar beach extension is popular for relaxation after the wildlife adventure.
Tanzania is home to the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — plus cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and hundreds of bird species. The Serengeti also hosts the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of fresh grazing.
Yes, many lodges offer family-friendly options and activities for children. Some camps provide junior ranger programs, nature walks, and flexible game drives. Always check age restrictions for certain parks or lodges. A family safari can be an educational, exciting, and unforgettable bonding experience for kids and parents alike.
Pack lightweight, neutral-colored clothing, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes. Don’t forget binoculars, a camera, insect repellent, and any required medications. Mornings can be chilly, so include a light jacket. Most lodges offer laundry services, allowing you to pack light while staying comfortable throughout your safari.
