As we travel toward Kikuletwa, you’ll journey through vast sugarcane plantations covering over 100,000 acres and pass by authentic Maasai villages, where life continues in its traditional rhythm.

Along the way, enjoy insightful commentary from your English-speaking guide, who will share stories about local culture, history, and the formation of the geothermal springs. If the sky is clear, this route offers some of the most unobstructed views of Mount Kilimanjaro, an incredible photo opportunity for those lucky enough to see the peak.

Upon arrival at the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, you’ll be welcomed into a lush pocket of tropical vegetation. Here, beneath tall fig trees, lies a pool of blue water, kept at a naturally warm and inviting temperature year-round by underground volcanic activity.

While you enjoy the water, our local chef will prepare a freshly cooked lunch, featuring traditional Tanzanian Flavors made with locally sourced ingredients.

Vegetarian and dietary-friendly options are available upon request. Once your swim and meal are complete, we’ll begin the relaxed drive back to Moshi or Arusha, returning you to your hotel by late afternoon.
